Angling history and achievement

I have been fishing since the age of five but more regulary from the age of ten after a holiday trip trip to brixham where i hooked a big fish that i never landed it just tore off like a rocket and i was hooked from then i on .that means that as i am am almost 46 years old now i have been fishing for over 36 years. i am a member of lymington and district sea fishing club i think since i was 12 . I have been in the England squad set up and have represented England at the home internationals and in world championships also i have fished for SAMF at world club championships and have been fortunate enough to have won a few medals on the way.

My most memorable angling moment

I have got quite a few memorable momments they start from numerous great fishing trips with my Dad , representing England at home and world championships, meeting and fishing with and against some truly great anglers, to this year fishing in the England senior team at the home internationals in Ireland, along side my son Dan in the junior team.

Favourite venues

from a match point of view ,anywhere! but as i have to pick some, Chesil Beach , Weymouth Breakwater when we were allowed on it, really rough ground marks and Milford Shingle Bank .

Future plans

I have been fortunate enough to have achieved all my angling dreams and more , i hope to carry on a bit yet but also hope to run few more matches and some coaching

Favourite Tronixpro products

I really like the Bite Line with built in leader brilliant for fishing solent beaches no knot means less trouble with our lovely weed ,all the popups and the 3 hook shrimp rig

Favourite rigs

Most consistant rig for me is 3 hook ckip down hook lengths vary but its a good rig, also long light rigs for gars scad and mackerel .

Favourite baits

If i had to choose baits to use all year round i would choose rag and mackerel but i like whatever baits that you need on any given venue
